The poet Ioulita Iliopoulou creates an illustrated book about Odysseus Elytis, with which she offers another way of introducing children to the magic, ideas and symbols of the great Greek poet's poetry.

The author narrates, in a pleasant way, the life of the poet giving information about him, the poetry and the world in which he grew up. The text includes poems and prose passages by Odysseus Elytis as well as his own visuals and photographs. The last pages suggest a multitude of activities, based on the poet's work, that can be carried out at home or at school.

This is a book primarily aimed at children, but can certainly be enjoyed by their parents and teachers as well.
