Nipple:
The round nipple promotes a similar tongue placement and sucking technique as when breastfeeding, as the round shape allows the sides of the tongue to lift and latch around the nipple, just as it does during breastfeeding.
The nipple is equipped with a valve, which releases air when the baby locks onto the nipple. This ventilation system forces air from inside the teat to be forced out through the valve, thereby straightening the teat to naturally mold to the baby's oral cavity.
The valve is also the reason why water can appear inside the nipple after cleaning and sterilization. If this is the case, simply squeeze the nipple to remove excess water.
Shield:
The round lightweight shield sits away from the sensitive skin around baby's mouth to ensure minimal contact with baby's nose and mouth, meaning less chance of moisture build-up from saliva that can cause rashes and sore spots.
The shield is available in one size regardless of nipple size.
Material:
The shield is made of 100% food safe material. Completely free of BPA, PVC and phthalates.
The nipple is produced from natural rubber latex. Since rubber latex is a natural material, color differences may occur.

Available in sizes 1, 2 and 3.
